Moray Primary School Uniform

School Uniform

At Moray PS we have always taken pride in our school and our school uniform and our pupils always look smart, comfortable and ready to enjoy their learning experiences.

School Uniform

A reminder of school uniform -

  • White shirt & tie or polo shirt
  • Navy jumper or sweatshirt
  • Navy/grey skirt/trousers
  • Sturdy shoes/boots –black, brown or navy
  • ALL BLACK TRAINERS CAN BE WORN BUT NO BLACK AND WHITE CONVERESE PLEASE

P.E Days

On P.E days pupils will come to school wearing school uniform and change in school. Pupils for ease of changing can wear shorts etc. under their school uniform.

Gym rubbers or trainers for P.E can be brought to school on P.E days or a pair of gym rubbers can be left in school for P.E days.

Only P1 and P2 can come to school in an Active School Uniform which can be -

  • plain black or navy jogging bottoms, leggings, shorts (weather dependant)
  • plain white t-shirt and school sweatshirt/navy jumper/sweatshirt/cardigan

This avoids purchasing other sports clothes which can be expensive and unifies the children by the uniform being worn every day. Although you can buy uniform which has the Moray PS logo, most supermarkets/stores sell very reasonably priced plain white or blue polo shirts.  Football colours and football strips are not permitted and we discourage the wearing of labels and expensive logos.

Learning Outdoors

We continue our focus on learning outdoors to utilise our grounds and our Eco Garden. Children will be out in all weathers (despite extreme) and we ask that parents always send their child to school with a jacket which is waterproof and shoes suitable for outdoors.  A change of shoes should be brought in a plastic bag.
